Click 'Quick Add' in the Navigation Bar

Open the Pie Tax App and find the 'Quick Add' button in the middle of the navigation bar.

Select 'Add tax relief'

After clicking 'Quick Add', select 'Add tax relief' from the screen to open the options menu.

Choose Pension Contributions

Next, you’ll see various types of tax reliefs. Tap ‘Pension Contributions’ to continue.

Select how you want to add your pension contributions data

At this stage, you’ll decide how to input your pension contributions. You can either connect the app to your bank account, select from an existing bank connection or enter the details manually.

Reconcile on Bookkeeping

If you choose to connect to a bank account or select from an existing bank account: The app will redirect you to the Bookkeeping section, where you can reconcile all your pension contributions directly from a specific bank account.

Enter Manually

To enter your pension manually, add the provider name, select net or gross, enter the amount, and add the date. The app will show a 20% tax relief calculation. Tap ‘Finish’ to save.

Review Your Tax Relief Summary

After entering the details, you can view them in the 'Income Account' section or the Tax Overview section of the app.
