The new tax year always starts on the 6th April of one year and ends on the 5th April of the next year. The 2022/2023 tax year ran from 6th April 2022 until 5th April 2023. We are now in the tax year 2023/2024 which started on 6th April 2023 and will end on 5th April 2024.
